Full Moon Horoscope – 18° Capricorn (Sun in Cancer)
This is an intense Full Moon—because of the degree. This particular degree shows different themes depending on whether the sign is Cardinal, Fixed, or Mutable. No matter what, there is a kind of isolation that is applied to it.
Now, I’m not sayin’ you’re going to be isolated this summer—it’s more like…
You could stumble on a gold mine (like actual opportunities of money) or everything in your life and around you is illuminated without your control. For those of us that this placement is in aspect with in a big way (and this is a very well-cohesive Full Moon to the last New Moon), whatever began from the New Moon on, you can bet it will fast-forward with some unusual surprises.
Because this Moon sits at 18° you will have to say goodbye and take a journey—either physical, spiritual, of the “old self,” or financial. For many of us, it will be a plethora of guests, events, and overwhelming opportunities for social butterfly times. There is money floating around—or could be accessed through the ethos.
If this is a good aspect in your chart—a wish may come true.
If this is in conflict in your chart—there may be a turn of events.
Like I said, what happened during the New Moon that you didn’t expect to come to fruition in your life? It would have had to involve a confession—something in your life would have become visible (or you would have become visible).
Check where Leo sits in your birth chart to know what that may have been.
EX:
Leo in the 4th: A decision about where you want to live/spend more time, how you are feeling emotionally, and things about your father.
1st house: An ability to entertain the unexpected, patience, a truth about self, and how you want the next trajectory to be.
11th house: Every wish you wanted may unfold… but with a twist!
That is something you are learning with these illuminations.
So yeah, the journey continues—and this time, it will want to go to the core. But—you will be busy!
But alone—in all the same sense.
For many of us who have Neptune & Uranus conjunct this Full Moon—you may have a lot of housekeeping. Watch out for floods, plumbing, electrical problems. This also gives you a better idea of which house this lands in. If you have these natal celestial bodies in the 6th house, be careful around water at this time, or what you’re eating that’s from the water (like oysters or crawfish), and infections.
Maybe in general, be wary of infections.
Now of course, you want to look at where this Full Moon sits in your chart. Generally, you can say a Full Moon will cause issues for the next two weeks.
If that’s in your 10th and 4th house: a load of responsibilities to do with the home, work, and carrying the weight to get it all through. You may feel fairly isolated just figuring all that out.
In your 1st and 7th: you may be entertaining, trying to show your best self but struggling a little. You want to keep a good word, but your emotions could get the best of you—even to the point where you start to see those ghosts. You may also struggle to give enough time to your personal relationships—or understanding emotions and commitment.
It’s like this last month we’ve been traveling through the aorta—almost a struggle for oxygen because we’re all doing so much, and so much must be done. There are some nights coming up where everything takes a big jump into the future for you—and somehow, there is an orchestra of things around you, all a part of it. Could be financial, could be the honest words, could be a crowd of people.
One last thing. This Full Moon falls under a contrarian influence - so most importantly
“Acting out your contrarian side OR life will be contrarian to you.”
